Safety Is Our First Priority

There is a nothing that is more important than the safety of our children. We have some procedures, ways and norms to cover pick-up and drop-off, visitors, safety in the kindergarten’s yard, equipment and furniture safety, and more. All of these are reviewed from time to time and we try to update them.

Something about pick-up and drop-off:

Parents or their assistants must check in and out each child every day. We enforce our policy by registering and documenting access rights to parents and others who are authorized to pick up the child. We keep a file of names, addresses and phone numbers of those people in case of an emergency. No child is released to an adult without proper authorization and identification.

About furniture:

Our Preschool is child-friendly – child-sized tables and chairs are sturdy and comfortable. Toys and learning places are carefully settled. Equipment is controlled on an ongoing basis to guarantee it is in good working state. Broken equipment is taken out of service immediately to be repaired or replaced.

About hand washing:

Preventing the spread of germs begins from hand washing which is the very single but the most effective procedure. Teachers are required to wash their own hands, as well as the hands of our children, before and after some of our activities and ingestion.

Cleaning and Disinfecting:

Bright Futures Preschool staff accurately cleans surfaces that children come in close contact with. Many surfaces, including bathroom surfaces, are disinfected in the way prescribed by our government. Toys that children put into their mouths are also cleaned and disinfected between uses. Play tables are disinfected periodically or when it is needed.

Medical care

Our first aid kits are equipped by thermometers for measuring temperature, medical gloves, bandaids, cotton, cleansing wipes, antiseptic spray, cotton swabs, instant hand sanitizer, medical tape, antibiotic cream, Hydrogen Peroxide, Sterile Sea Water, trash bag, ace wrap, scissors and cling. As for drugs, we don’t use them without parents’ permission. In case of an injury or temperature we use our first aid kit and call parents immediately.
